Region

Apt is located in the heart of the natural park du Luberon, between the Vaucluse and Luberon mountains. This pleasant, typical Provencal city is known for the quality of its regional products. Apt was classified as "site remarquable du goût" and is also the metropolis of candied fruit!

For the gourmets ... you are in a region where you can eat well! The connoisseurs will never miss the famous market on Saturday morning. You will find a range of unique local products: the fruit has just been ripened and topped by the sun, the goat cheese is sold there by the producer. Each with their own flavour.

Located 50 km east of Avignon and 60 km north of Aix-en-Provence, this allows you to travel from one unforgettable town or village to the other (Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Lacoste, Ménerbes,… ) and enjoy their beautiful sites. Furthermore, it is really worthwhile to visit the Abbey of Sénanque, the village of Bories, the castle of the Marquis de Sade, the ocher mines of Roussillon.

The Mediterranean Sea, with Marseille and Cassis for example, are only about 110 km from Apt.
