Rustrel Oil Mill Museum

This former oil mill was in operation from the mid-18th century right up until the early 1930s.

The grinder, presses, and capstan are in mint condition. The oil storage tanks and jars, scales, slate and cauldron are also on display.
The only features not on display are the settling tanks and any tools and containers which have been used for other purposes.

The museum's easy-to-follow exhibition shows how olive oil was made in the 19th century.
